Laurent Perrier Vintage 2007
Champagne Laurent-Perrier has released its latest vintage 2007. The Laurent-Perrier Vintage 2007 is only the 27th vintage to be released in a prestigious line-up of exceptional wines.
Laurent-Perrier only declares vintages in years when grape quality is truly exceptional. This rigorous selection process ensures the resulting champagne is truly expressive of the vintage, with excellent ageing capacity, yet retains the signature characteristics of the Laurent-Perrier house style: lightness, freshness and elegance.
Crafted from the best Crus of the Montagne de Reims and Côtes des Blancs, the Vintage 2007 is a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, bottle aged in the cellars for at least eight years to increase complexity before being disgorged.
The vintage is distinguished by delicate beading and a subtle aroma with hints of fresh pineapple, dried apricots and almonds. Rounded on the palate, it strikes an ideal balance between freshness and intensity before reaching a lively finish with hints of white peach and Mirabelle plum.
The Laurent-Perrier Vintage 2007 pairs wonderfully with fish accompanied by sauce, while its roundness and delicacy will also enhance the flavours of poultry and other white meats.
