Bunnamagoo 1827 Cabernet Sauvignon 2010-Mudgee
Made from a blend of the best fruit selected from the Eurunderee vineyard at Mudgee and the Bunnamagoo vineyard at Rockley. Bunnamagoo’s winemaker, Robert Black, destemmed and crushed the grapes before fermentation in closed stainless stell potters. Malolactic fermentation occurred in a mixture of new and old french oak hogsheads followed by maturation for 20 months . The finished wine has a supple structure with fine tannins and an array of fragrant cassis, red cherry notes and spices. Oak derived characters of vanilla and fine toast provide a fenerous finish.
The wine will age gracefully for 15 years.
